In the program, John addresses this topic.  We feel that a lot of people for some reason are skeptical and therefore have never taken the time to understand how option trading actually works and how powerful it can be.  And sadly, as a result, many people are leaving a lot of money on the table by not incorporating this simple option strategy that John teaches.  The other reason is that people do not want to set aside the time to learn this. They would prefer to hand their money over to someone else to do it for them. 

In our experience, most people who say options are risky, know very little if anything, about trading options. There are hundreds of different option strategies to use and yes, some of them would be considered risky.  The Cash Flow Bootcamp does not teach or advise on strategies we deem risky. Is there risk?  Absolutely.  It’s no different than any other type of investment you could make.  But, if used properly, options can be less risky than simply owning outright shares of stock and they can significantly enhance overall performance of your investment portfolio.

No. This option strategy has been around since the early 1970’s and is well written about and is very popular with investors. What John has done, was to create a process for learning it, making it easier to understand and comprehend.

This is not day trading.  This is not a system where you are required to be glued to your screen all day.  This system, once fully grasped, can take you approximately 30 minutes to a few hours per week depending on how active you wish to be.  One benefit to this, is that you can structure it to fit within your schedule. 

The Cash Flow Bootcamp was designed so that you have the necessary knowledge and confidence in the process within 45 days.  For some it may take longer.  It really depends on how much time you are willing to put into it. The course is broken up into 5 key stages followed by a comprehensive review.  In addition, there are bonus videos covering additional option strategies.  It’s our recommendation that this is not rushed and that each stage is completed on a weekly basis so you have time to complete the activities, rewatch the videos, and review the content before moving on to the next stage.

No! Basic arithmetic, a passion to learn, and desire for a better life is all you need to learn this system. 

No! John feels strongly that this should not be a replacement for your workplace retirement plan. John discusses this in the program. John will show you how both, a passive and in this case, an active portfolio can complement each other and position you for long term success. 

It really depends on the individual person.  This is a Bootcamp, and therefore it’s designed to be an intensive program.  Each stage is approximately two hours long followed by various activities to complete each week. On average we would suggest allocating at a minimum of 6 hours per week for six weeks.  Having said that, the more time you put into the content in this program, and outside study, the quicker you will be up and running and the higher probability of success you will have. 

First of all, this is not day trading.  Most people are very busy and time can be a precious commodity.  The system was designed to take a lot of the heavy lifting off your plate, so you’re not staring at a computer all day.  Once you have a full grasp of how this process works, you will be able to manage your portfolio in a fraction of your time.  Depending on how much trading you do, it could be as little as 30 minutes per week, or as much as much as several hours, per week.  You can structure it to fit your schedule.  For example, John spends approximately 2 – 3 hours per week on this – many times less than that. 

Although this course teaches you how to use options to control 100 shares of a stock at a fraction of the price, the primary focus of the Cash Flow Bootcamp is teaching you how to sell options to generate cash flow and grow the value of your investment portfolio.  In this case, this strategy would require you to buy 100 shares of a stock you wish to own and trade options on. 

In the US, essentially any type of a brokerage account will work with this strategy.  Ideally, you would want to use this in a non-taxable account, also known as a ‘qualified’ account because any income generated or capital gains would not be subject to ordinary income tax.  However, this strategy would work in a taxable (non-qualified) account as well.  Within a taxable you will be subject to income tax on income generated and capital gains.  We strongly encourage you to check with an accountant or a tax specialist so you use the appropriate account.  For those outside of the US, it’s very important you confirm with your brokerage platform and a tax professional whether or not your laws allow for this type of trading as well as the tax ramifications.

This strategy is well written about and used by thousands of individual investors.  However, despite its popularity, John has created his own process for the purpose of enhancing and expediting your comprehension.  John lays this out in a simple and well structured manner, so the information builds on itself over time.  In addition, guided mentorship, as this course has been designed, is critical in anything you wish to excel at. This program is structured like a mentorship which offers you insight and guidance that a book or a YouTube video cannot provide. In addition, The Cash Flow Bootcamp was designed to keep you accountable along your journey that the “Do It Yourself” approach cannot duplicate. 

Yes! We urge our students to walk before they run.  Practice is essential before you put your hard earned money to work. Even though you may grasp the process, what you’ll find is that over time while you practice, you will develop that sense of intuition and confidence in what you’re doing.  So yes, practice trading is extremely important before you use real money.    

Yes, you will need a brokerage account to implement this strategy.  We would suggest using a reputable investment firm with a strong track record. Ideally, you would want a platform that also provides technical charts.  We would also suggest a platform that offers research services.  John uses Charles Schwab.  Other students are using TD Ameritrade, Merrill Lynch, Robinhood, Fidelity and others.

No.  Having said that, there are hundreds of services available for a fee, to help you identify stocks and identify option trades – but it’s NOT necessary. John does subscribe to a service called Motley Fools which is a research firm that provides timely stock ideas.  The cost for that service is approximately $100 per year.  You will have everything you need without outside subscriptions or memberships. 

Yes. Like any investment, risk is unavoidable.  This strategy involves owning shares of the company and that will always be subject to market volatility and loss.  The process John shares is designed to help you increase your probability of success, not guarantee it. 

Yes. We are unaware of any country that prohibits this type of option trading.  There are specific types of option strategies that are prohibited, but again we are unaware of any country that bans this particular type of option trading.  If you are outside the U.S., we strongly suggest you confirm that you are allowed to trade options.
